Art Jam @ Dublin City Soul Festival

Posted: Monday, May 23rd, 2011

Art Jam Ireland will be doing public art jams in Merrion Square on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th May as part of the Dublin City Soul Festival   see www.dublincitysoulfestival.com  This is a fantastic festival that has been runnning for five years now, and raises funds and awareness for the Musical Youth Foundation.  The final two days of the festival take place in Merrion Square over the weekend. So come along and get creative and create your own masterpiece while listening to the sounds of live soul music in the beautiful surounds of merrion sqaure park.  Unfortunately we can’t offer the art jam for free, as most festivals have had their funding cut enourmously this year..So while I am happy to give my time and effort.. we do have to cover our basic costs and offer something to the Musical Youth Foundation….So the price will be €20pp.  €5 of which will go to the MYF… for this you get to use all the materials – paints, brushes, aprons, easels, and you get to take home your 16×20″ stretched canvas that can be hung straight on to the wall…

Have a look at the facebook link and click if you can attend so we have an idea of numbers…
