Temple Bar Circus Festival Photos

Posted: Saturday, July 11th, 2009

On the evening of Thursday 9th July, Curved Street in Temple Bar was filled with easels canvases for anyone to paint, places were pre booked, and there were queues of people lining up to take the places of those that didn’t turn up.  Thankfully the rain stayed of to make this a very enjoyable event for those participating.  It was wonderful for Art Jam Ireland to be able to facilitate an outdoor event and hopefuly it will be first of many.  As you can see from the photos there is a lot of talented, creative people out there.  Passers by were stopping to have a look - one or two art jammers even got asked if their paintings were for sale!!  Have a look at the photos by clicking the linkÂ

Art Jamming & Networking

Posted: Thursday, February 26th, 2009

Having an art jam at a networking event is a wonderful way to break the ice and get people talking. While most networking events are socialable events, hosting an art jam gives it a little something extra, people mingle very easily out of curiosity to see what everyone else is doing.  While one participant may think their own painting is terrible, someone else may think its fantastic.. so not only do the participants leave having made new contacts and a painting.. they may also have had an enourmous boost to their self esteem!      Art Jam Ireland recently hosted an evening for Networth Networking  www.networth.ie   which turned out to be a great evening.  There were two sessions, each for 30 people.  Food and wine was laid on in the beautifull Ballsbridge Court hotel. The first art jam session took place when people arrived.  There was a break for half an hour for the speakers and then the second group painted.  In the meantime everyone was mingling, sipping wine, having supper  and just generally having a good time.  Here are the photos:

Hens @ Doonbeg Golf Resort

Posted: Sunday, January 11th, 2009

Last November I drove through the wilds of west Ireland.. through the rain and the wind to what seemed like the last post on mainland Ireland… and finally I arrived at the Beautiful Doonbeg Golf Resort. I have seen more of Ireland in the last year than at any other time of my life, and I absolutely love it - good job I like driving too… Anyway - the girls were all delighted and although the photos didn’t turn out great you will still get to see them…and the bride’s painting turned out lovely…

Tuesday Art Jam @ Piedescalso Art Cafe

Posted: Wednesday, December 3rd, 2008

Well…. here are the photos from the first night’s art jam at the Piedescalso… as you can see everyone really enjoyed themselves, made new friends, and surprised themselves with their own ability and talent! Thanks to all who came last night, I have no doubt we will see you all again soon…

We have decided to change the format slightly and now instead of getting a complimentary glass of wine the Piedescalso will be offering all you can eat tapas…. and you won’t want to miss this mouth watering food…. so come along and have a go at table top art jamming, you get the use of all materials, your take away canvas in a take away box… and all you can eat tapas will be available all evening long… and all for €25… like I said “sure what else would you be doing on a Tuesday evening!”

There will be two more Tuesday art jams on the 9th & 16th December, then the cafe will be closed over Christmas and will re open again in January and we will start up the art jams again.

Anyway.. here are the photos:-

Art Jam at Vodafone

Posted: Monday, November 17th, 2008

The VODAFONE Brand Management Team recently held an Art Jam for its a group of Brand Executives that came to Dublin from all over the world for a training session.  The art jam was held at the end of the 2nd day and the theme was based on “Make the most of now - or Take/Live the Moment”.  And there are some very interesting results.  As you will see everyone really enjoyed it and found it fun and relaxing. They are obviously a very happy bunch of employees judging by the use of colour….
