Art Jam Ireland is delighted to announce that it has been invited to participate at the Street Performance World Championships in Dublin this year.  The event will take place on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th June in Merrion Square.  There will hour long art jam sessions from 12 to 7 on Saturday and 12 to 6 on Sunday.  This is FREE EVENT to the public and anyone can attend.  Adult and child participation is encouraged.  The theme for inspiration will be “A world without smoking - A cleaner healthier environment” as this art jam will be in conjunction with the EU anti smoking campaign “Help!”    So come along and get creative in a wonderful setting…   Check out  www.spwc.ie

Art Jam Ireland is holding an art jam to raise funds for Concern’s Haiti Appeal.  This event will take place in Mary’s Rugby Club, Templeville Road, Templeogue, Dublin 6W on 18th February. There will be two painting sessions back to back first one at 7pm and the second at 9pm. Full bar will be available for the event.  All materials provided, each person takes home their painting.  Come along and get creative for a good cause. Art Jam Ireland have been invited to particpate in the EARDRUMBUZZ fest at Meeting House Square on Sunday 23rd August.  This is  day long event as part of the Meeting House Square being covered.  A family day with lots going on.   Families welcome to come along and try their hand at various activities including art jamming.  Price €25 per person.  All materials supplied, participants take home their artwork.

For the week from 16th August Meeting House Square will be covered and there will be an abundance and variety of events taking place.  Art Jam Ireland have been invited to hold a public art jam in the Square from 4-7pm on Monday 17th August.  Anyone can come along and explore their creative side for this once of painting session.  All professional art materials are supplied and each participant gets to take home their own original piece of artwork.  If you ever fancied yourself as a bit of an artist now is your chance!!  Price €25 per person.  Come on your own, with friends or family, after work … just come along and get creative!

Art Jam Ireland and RUA RED Art space in Tallaght (www.ruared.ie ) will be having an art jam on the evening of  Thursday 3rd September from 6:30 to 8:30pm.  This is a wonderful venue and should inspire lots of creativity!!  and an opportunity for anyone who wants to attend an art jam, and in particular to businesses in the local area to network.  Anyone can come along on their own or with friends.  The bar of the gallery will be open for the duration of the art jam.  The plan is to make this a regular First Thursday event.  The price is €35 per person.  If you are interested in attending please email info@artjam.ie to put your name down

Art Jam Ireland has been invited to participate in the Kick-Start 2009 programme with the Cultivate Centre in Temple Bar  http://www.cultivate.ie/learning/health_spirit/kick_start_2009.html

If you haven’t already attended an art jam then now is the time to try something new!  The art jam will take place in the evening from 6-8pm at the Cultivate Centre.. and all the participants will get to explore their own creativity with paints.  All materials are provided from easels, to brushes and sponges, paints and books for inspiration… so you will feel like an artist for a few hours. I am delighted to announce that from the Tuesday 2nd December we will be hosting art jams at the Piedescalso Art Cafe.  This little art cafe is one of those places that is a real “treasure find”.. and I for one am delighted I found it!  The Piedescalso Art Cafe regularly hosts exhibitions and musical evenings .. and now art jam evenings.  However…. these will be art jams with a difference, due to limited space we won’t be doing the art jams with easels or deep edge canvases - instead the participants will be painting on canvas that has been pulled over tables.  The canvas sheets will then be divided into quarters with three people to each table and one quarter as spaces for glasses of wine, palettes, brushes etc.  At the end of the session each person gets to take away their own artwork in a take away box.

Take Away Art!.. Tuesday Table Top Take Away Art .. with Art Jam Ireland at the Piedescalso Art Cafe - sure what else would you be doing on a Tuesday evening????  So come along and have a go! discover your creative side.. and even if you discover you are not the next Picasso or Monet you will have fun, make new friends, have a glass of wine, chill to the music and maybe, just maybe, you may paint something that you will be really proud of.. or something that you could give to someone as a christmas present!
